Conditions of Registration and Cancellation Policies

Registration Fees
The Full Congress registration includes entrance to the Opening Ceremony and Presidential Reception (space permitting), participation in all the scientific sessions (except masterclasses), access to the commercial exhibition, congress material, congress abstracts, coffee breaks, working lunches and a certificate of attendance.

The Accompanying Persons registration includes entrance to the Opening Ceremony and the Presidential Reception (space permitting), as well as access to the commercial exhibition, coffee breaks and working lunches.

The prices are in EUR (€) and do not include Belgian VAT (21%).

Masterclass Registrations
Specialised masterclasses will be held on each morning of the congress. Masterclass registrations can be made online. The registration fee includes entrance only to the masterclass of your choice. Multiple masterclasses can be selected.

Registration fee: € 80.00 per masterclass. Registration fees do not include Belgian VAT (21%).

Trainees Meeting
EACMFS Member residents attending the congress can attend the trainees meeting, held on Monday,
13 September at no additional cost.

For residents not attending the congress, the following registration fees for the trainees meeting apply:

On Monday evening, a beach BBQ is included in the registration for the trainees meeting.

* To qualify for trainee registration fees, applicants must obtain a letter from the Head of the Department to verify their trainee status.

One-Day Programme - Orthognatic Surgery - Surgical Orthodontics - Orthofacial Surgery

Participants interested in the field of Surgical Orthodontics, Orthognathic Surgery or Orthofacial Surgery are invited to register for this one-day event.

Terms and Conditions
Upon completion of your online registration, we will send you a confirmation email and receipt by email.

Liability
In the case of Government intervention or regulation, military activity, strikes or any other circumstances that make it impossible or inadvisable for the EACMFS XX Congress to take place at the time and place provided, the participant shall waive any claim for damages or compensation except the amount paid for registration after deduction of actual expenses incurred in connection with the congress and there shall be no future liability on the part of either party.

Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy
All costs referred to are in EUR (€). All payments must be made in EUR (€). Payments must be received prior to the congress. Delegates with outstanding payments will be asked for payment on site, proof of payment or a guarantee by credit card. If one of these cannot be supplied, the delegate will be refused permission to attend the congress.

Cancellation of congress registration
In the event of cancellation, written notification should be sent to the PCO Secretariat (c/o MCI Brussels).
The following cancellation fees will apply:

• From 15 November to 15 May, 2010: Refund minus € 50.00 handling fee
• From 16 May to 29 June, 2010: Refund minus € 80.00 handling fee
• After 30 June 2010: No refund

All refunds will be processed and issued within 30 days after the congress.

Cancellation of masterclasses, trainees meeting, social programme and optional tours.
In the event of cancellation of masterclasses, trainees meeting, social programme and tours, written notification should be sent to the PCO Secretariat (c/o MCI Brussels). For cancellations received before 30 June, refunds will be made minus 10% of amounts paid. After 30 June, no refunds will be allowed.
All refunds will be processed and issued within 30 days after the congress.

Payment
The online registration site is a secured site. Major credit cards such as American Express, VISA and MasterCard are accepted. Payments by wire transfer are accepted until 15 August. Full payment must be received prior to the congress.

Security
For security reasons, all registrants will be issued a badge onsite which is required to be worn at all times during the congress and at any organised functions. Badge swapping is strictly forbidden.
